Decorating styles are constantly evolving.
When we first began our business back in the 1980s, Victorian & Edwardian decoration was in vogue and lots of heavy wallpapers & curtains were added to houses to replicate the look of those periods. These days the decorating is a much lighter style, generally a French Provincial or Hamptons style and with these styles there is a need for a lighter looking door hardware. At first Brushed Nickel was all the rage but the latest finish is now a Satin or Brushed Brass finish. Initially there was little available in this finish but suppliers have now caught up and the range is quite large. We have put together a board of the Satin Brass products that are now available and it looks quite stunning.
